Meet Our Founders

Although Global Import Solutions, an AmerCareRoyal Company, is a relatively young company, founded in 2009, our leaders have extensive experience in international business and provide the foundation for our team and business to thrive.

Bob hubbard

Bob has a logistics background working for 13 years in the rail industry and 10.5 years in the distribution industry. With the railroad, Bob held positions in Engineering, Track Maintenance, Transportation, Industrial and Economic Development, and finally National Account Sales. After leaving the railroad industry to join a large distribution company, Bob began his career running their newly created Food Processor Division. Bob moved into Corporate Procurement in 2001, managing domestic supplier relationships. In 2002, Bob assumed the lead role developing and thereafter managing the distribution company's Direct Import Program.

In 2009, Bob joined Roy to form Global Import Solutions (GIS) and Team Three Group (T3). Bob manages the GIS business in its entirety as well as the USA side of the T3 business, including international and domestic logistics, customer interface, inventory management, product and opportunity development, etc. Bob has a deep level of experience working with Food Service Disposable suppliers in Asia to maximize speed to market and minimize the risks of market entry.

Roy Van

Roy began his international business career with a USA retail chain in a sourcing and purchasing role. For five years in the early 1990’s, Roy was a Merchandising Manager for the Metro China Region of a major retail chain, providing sourcing activities, quality assurance, and factory audits. Roy left this position in 1994 and opened the first buying office in HK for a European retail group as Director of the Asia Pacific Region. Roy also served on their board as the Asian Region Representative. Roy left this position after a few years and started his own company named Asian Choice. Specializing in durable kitchenware, Asian Choice has since expanded into seasonal ornaments and other retail items.

In 2009, Roy joined Bob in forming T3 and GIS. Roy manages supplier relationships, QA/QC including pre-shipment inspections and factory audits, and PO flow to and from the T3 factories; Roy’s team is an authorized Walmart third-party audit firm.
